Design
We can design and detail the following structural elements;
Concrete; Pad and Strip Foundations. Reinforced Concrete Ground Beams, Rafts, Slabs, Walls, Columns, Retaining walls & Silo Bases.
Structural Steelwork; Beams, Columns, Braced Fames, Portal Frames, Durbar Floors, Staircases and all connections. Composite decks, purlins and side rails, trimming of doors and lintels.
Timber; Rafters, Purlins, Oak Frames, Walls and Floors, Beams including Traditional, Box ply, Glulam & Flitch.
Masonry; Walls and piers in Traditional and modern concepts, thin joint, bed joint reinforced, brick, stone or block & glass.
Historic buildings a speciality, including Grade I & ii status with sympathetic repairs and replication of cob, stone, timber framed, including churches, monuments, bridges and transport structures.
We also have vast experience in most forms of non traditional housing, including Cold rolled steel, Pre-cast and in-situ concrete, steel and timber framed housing, together with passive construction.
We are also capable of undertaking condition reports and schemes for underpinning and remedial works associated with subsidence and heave.
Detailing and specifications
With respect to our detailing services, Our drawing office can produce structural general arrangement sketches and drawings as required with steelwork, timber connections included plus any reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules on request,
We offer production of brief specifications related to procurement and workmanship, together with schedules of works and contract administration services including invitation to tender documents, returned tender analysis and JCT contract administration during contract period.
